First, let me say that I was very impressed by John McCain's concession speech. I thought it was gracious, encouraging, humble, and hopeful. It gave me my first glimpse at why people supported him so avidly.
Now, I have to say, "Yes We DID!" I am full of optimism this morning...and lacking in sleep.
I always suspected I would see the day that American would elect a black president. If I'm being honest, I didn't think it would be this soon. I am proud to be American today!
