It's Snowing!!

See title of post.

I was going to just leave it there, but I thought I'd add a bit more. Last night, I ended up hanging out with a classmate of mine, and at the end of the night on my way home, it was snowing. It was a wet, heavy kind of snow--perfect for snowballs. Anyway, he showed me this spot he goes when it's snowing. It was down by an old mill, and there was a bridge, and it was really beautiful and quiet in the way that it gets when it's snowing, and it reminded me of being in Minnesota (except that we were very clearly in Scotland because the buildings and bridge itself were ollllllld).

Before last night, I had thought I may not see snow this winter. It was actually really nice! On the other hand, I didn't have to drive in it, walk through it, shovel it, or scrape it off my car, so it was especially nice.

Anyway, I am working somewhat more seriously on my assignment, seeing as how it's due on Wednesday. I also start my counselling placement tomorrow morning! Also, my Chinese classmate who loves America is having a 'Thanksgiving' celebration at his house on Tuesday, so it will be nice to see what that entails. All I know is that I offered to bring the all-important sweet potatoes to dinner and he said I didn't need to because he was using his own recipe...
There are a lot of exciting things happening just now. I am a little sad to be missing Thanksgiving with my family, but that's life, isn't it? I'll call to say 'hi'!

That's it for me. Have a good week and a great Thanksgiving!
Miss and love you.
