A List

I need to go on a bike ride before the rain begins, so...here's a list of things instead of a real blog entry:

1.) I celebrated the 4th of July at a BBQ where no one knew it was a special day. I was going to bring sparklers but there weren't any to be purchased. This was actually one of the best 4ths I've had in recent years--I have spent the past few (working) on the psych unit.

2.) Chris and I have been playing a lot of frisbee. We're not all that good at it (yet).

3.) Other than choosing the date, we haven't made many plans for the wedding. My wonderful parents are doing some legwork back in Minnesota and have found 3 (3!) venues that are available for our party! Yay!

4.) Speaking of wonderful parents, my parents have been married for 30 years, as of July 7th! Can you believe that? Actually, I can!

5.) My job opportunity at Central College (where I've been doing my counselling) sort of fell through due to lack of funding...so...I'm looking for a job. SIGH. Know anyone in Glasgow who needs someone with a BA in Psych and some sort of diploma in counselling? No? Me either. Wish me luck.
