In the Sunshine of My Li-i-i-i-i-i-iiiifee

So, some people (Chris) aren't satisfied with my last blog entry. Apparently, finding my favorite cereal at the grocery store shouldn't share a space with the news of our engagement. Well. I don't know what to say. I was happy all over the place! Since the big day (2 days ago), Chris and I have started chatting somewhat casually, somewhat seriously, about when and where the wedding will be, and who will be invited and all that good stuff. It's funny, before he asked me to marry him, the idea was always sort of a "What if we did?" Now, it's a "When and where" sort of thing. It feels pretty real now. And you know what? I'm really happy about it! It just feels like the absolute right thing. All the conversations I had with my parents when I was younger about how I was 'never getting married' feel pretty ridiculous just about now. My face is red. But then again, that could be sunburn because...

Yesterday, I met up with a classmate and we took a long bike ride around Glasgow, which I haven't done since I've been here. It was so sunny and beautiful, and it was so fantastic being on a bike again. I am buying a bike (and a helmet, Mom) this weekend, and then I can bike everywhere. I thought I'd be nervous riding on the street, with all the new traffic laws, but riding with someone local really helped.

Alright, that's enough from me. Take care, love and miss you all.
