Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow

Well hello!

Mary left this morning and should, if I'm estimating correctly, be arriving safely at home in about 3 hours. It was awesome to have her here! It just felt right and natural. I'm also happy that she and Chris got to know each other better. They even went on a date to Loch Lomond while I was at my counselling placement (writing that poem). I'll try to pilfer some photos from her and put them up here. The difficult part will be choosing which ones to put up, mainly because I'm sure they're all awesome, but also because SHE TOOK A MILLION OF THEM. Literally, one million. Seriously. In any case, I'm sad she's gone already!

I do have to say, one good thing that came out of Mary's visit is that now, I have a hotel to recommend to future visitors. If you don't like having a phone that works or a TV that gets any kind of reception, and if your wake-up calls just aren't that important to you, then the Smith's Hotel is the place for you. In all seriousness, it was cute and cheap and the little flaws were all part of its charm...right, Mary?

Annnyway, I thought I'd just write to say hi to you all. I think I was MIA during the time Mary was here, so...I apologize for the lack of contact.
