Hey! I just wanted to announce that today, I will be mailing my absentee ballot. So...I get to vote today (kind of)! Guess who I'm voting for. You are probably right. I'm really excited about the election. Some school friends and I are making plans to stay up and watch coverage of it, but I'm thinking the decision will be made around 7 AM my time...we'll see how that goes.
Everything school-wise is fine. My fake counselling is getting better and better, according to objective observers, so that's good news for me.
I heard it's snowing in Minnesota! I'm sorry! It has been 'chilly' here too, but not to the same 'degree' (ha!), I'm sure. It's funny, the other day about 5 of my classmates approached me, asking if I'd seen this particular show the night before. Apparently, on this show, this British comedian has been travelling around America, and the night before he had been in Minnesota. It had been filmed in the dead of winter and people were ice fishing, and there was a lot of snow (just in case you don't know what winter in Minnesota is like...cough.). They couldn't believe it could be that cold and snowy anywhere. Apparently the comedian had asked, "Why would anyone choose to live here?!" I told them that every winter, as I was scraping layers of snow and ice off my car only to find that it was too cold for the car to start, I wondered the same thing.
My heart (but that's the only part, sorry) is with all of you as winter gets rolling.
Alright, I'm off to the post office!
xo
