Hey everyone, this is just a quick note to let you know that Chris and I have successfully moved into the new flat, and that it's awesome! However, we will not have internet access until next Monday. So...feel free to call me on my mobile if you need to get in touch with me. You may or may not be wondering how I'm writing this if I don't have access to the internet. Well, my 10:30 appointment didn't show up (STOP SCHEDULING STUDENTS FOR 10:30! IT'S APPARENTLY TOO EARLY!! AUGHHHH!!!) so I'm free to roam about the web at my leisure.
Chris and I got back yesterday afternoon from spending a couple of days in Montrose. We wanted to go up to return the car they so kindly let us borrow, and to let them know in person that we're getting married in America.
Can I just stop here and interject that it's pretty difficult to date/marry someone from another country. I mean, the relationship part, once we got to the same country, has been the easiest and best of my life. But all the other things--the planning, the potential to leave someone out or favor one person's family--those have been tough, and are only getting tougher.
But I digress. It was nice to be able to talk about our decision in person with them, and nice to get out of Glasgow for a little while.
Anyway, that's about it for me. As soon as I can, I'll put some pictures of the new place up. You have to see this carpet...I mean, you really have to.
